CORE Services
Trinity Social Services’ unique and tailored approach to Core Outpatient Services is derived from a number of variables assessed from reviewing the child in need of counseling. Through a comprehensive evaluation of a child’s needs, their situation and previous counseling services, we’re able to make a determination about the scope of care required to help mitigate or eliminate deviant tendencies within the child. The resulting program is designed to benefit the child, their family and help to ensure the continued preservation of the family unit.
Our Core Outpatient Services include the following:
- Intensive Individual Therapy
- Parenting Training
- Behavior Modification
- Family Skills Training
- Anger Management
- Community Linkage
- Child Counseling Service
- Intensive Family Therapy
- Skills Training
- Substance Abuse Counseling
- In-Home Services
- Crisis Intervention
- Psychiatric Assessments
- Family Preservation Services
Intensive Family Intervention (IFI)
Trinity Social Services is intent on preserving the structure of the families we work with, which is why we’re proud to offer Intensive Family Intervention (IFI). We assess the need for IFI services on a case-by-case basis, determining the scope of need before meeting with a family in the privacy of their own home. Authorized by the Georgia Department of Human Resources (DHR) and covered by Georgia Medicaid, IFI is designed to be an intensive service provided to children and adolescents that have severe emotional disturbances or substance abuse issues.
IFI services can include, but are not limited to:
- Crisis Intervention
- Intensive Family Therapy
- Parent Training
- Behavior Modification
- Substance Abuse Counseling
- Rehabilitative supports to prevent the need for out-of-home placement and/or more restrictive services.
This counseling option encompasses all aspects of a child’s life, allowing our experienced professionals to address the need for help at any angle. The family unit, school representatives, community agencies and other clinical services are able to participate in the IFI process, in order to provide a full range of support for the child.
IFI services are conducted primarily by a team of Trinity Social Service professionals, including: a team leader, a Therapist licensed by the State as an LPC, LCSW, LMFT, or PhD; a Mental Health Professional, a Master’s degree level professional; and a Paraprofessional, a Bachelor’s level professional.
Trinity Social Services provides services to the child their family several days per week, for up to two hours per visit. For families in immediate crisis, our team is available 24 hours a day, seven days a week. IFI services are approved for a period of 90 days (12 weeks) and when completed the child is discharged to a community agency deemed most appropriate for continuation of care and maintenance of the progress made.
